All hotels booked and not doing the full circle. Stopping on the way up too so these are our stopovers:I'm going to give it a miss at the moment, although done most in parts, lots of complaints from locals about mess and antisocial behavior, not that that would be us, but just too many on it now I think. Enjoy, but be aware most places want pre booking, no longer just turn up and get a room.

Ah. I thought you was going to say that. I was violently ill at 2.30am after having the fish platter when I was up there for a week.Restaurant | Crannog
On Fort William Town Pier, Crannog Restaurant serves the freshest of Scottish seafood from our red-roofed restaurant with fantastic views over Loch Linnhe.www.crannog.net
I once flew Mrs C and myself for dinner there. We visited when we toured Scotland the first year of our marriage. Then, in 2013 the company I was working for owed me a significant favour, and that's what we did. Worth every instant.

I was wondering whether it was still there. I imagine we will go if the rest of the boys like fish.Oh dear! Well, you've been there so....

It's still open, was there recently, but it's in town and called 'Garrison West'.I was wondering whether it was still there. I imagine we will go if the rest of the boys like fish.

Leave 15th and come back on the 21st. Big problem is lack of accommodation. It is all pretty full so may end up being the M25/500I'm thinking of doing similar but I'll be earlier in the week. What dates are you going?
