16.5k is too low for your car...Just have to look at the classifieds to see that and there aren't many 2004 model years out there. A specialist would put yours up with warrenty for around 22995k I would imagine so you should be able to get close to 20k if not more.....19995 would make it attractive to some.
Yeh gads gentlemen...I paid more than that for it before i spent the several Thou on its fixes and upgrades.
I see 2002 models for £19k.
Mine has to be a bit better than that surely...did i mention i got some furry dice for the rear view mirror??? LOL!!
If i cant get a trade and maybe £6k of my hard earned then i will keep it.
I have placed it on pistonheads for £24,500 as an PX exchange rate(cause we always overvalue for PX) but of course for cash i will drop to £22,500.
Its got 11 months MOT and Tax and will not need a thing done for around 12 months and then just an oil change and filter.
THis is now a risk free car to all pretence and purposes and even at £22,500 i will have lost many many thousands but i knew i was doing it as a labour of love anyway
Saw that one Adam at Jason Barkers..He is a good dealer....Thought it was yours at first. Looking at whats on PH it's def one of the nicest examples. The closest one I would say is the green one but green not well liked.
according to Carrs now Yes.Sorry, not meaning to criticise a member or their car, but you made a huge fuss when you bought it that the dealer sold it with "full service history" when in fact it just had a couple of stamps in the book and nothing else, when it should have at least 7 stamps in the book by now, just on age. I know the dealer then paid for your 31.5k service at Carrs, but I see that you're also selling it with "full service history".....is this really accurate?
In terms of your advert, I think that "no ride without the asking price as full deposit in cash" will put people off. I'd leave that discussion until someone comes to look at the car - very few people are going to hand over over £20k as a 'deposit'. Most people rely on insurance (one day insurance if necessary) or will settle for a passenger ride + inspection.
It does look nice though!

I will go into detail later
Hmm, if they said that then Carrs are talking rubbish I suspect! Are you sure they didn't say "servicing is now up to date"? This is different and would be achieved by their 31.5k service.

I have addressed the points raised Nigw and has altered the description to let the buyer decide on what constitutes a full service history.Sorry, not meaning to criticise a member or their car, but you made a huge fuss when you bought it that the dealer sold it with "full service history" when in fact it just had a couple of stamps in the book and nothing else, when it should have at least 7 stamps in the book by now, just on age.
