Ignore him Richard, every time we have compared the sound of mine to the 4200/GS everyone has favoured the deeper v8 in the 3200 over the higher pitched Ferrari sound. Even at Le Mans I had the say this and Mark's car was in front of me!

I'm not aware of anyone ever describing my car as sounding like a high-pitched Ferrari noise. The voices you heard at Le Mans were in your head, you mentalist! :)

Phils 3200 sounds alright . Here s a video i took of him starting it in his shell suit in Le Mans after a heavy night .

Richard, I'm not too far from Newbury if you'd like to hear an adult, more refined, less brash version of the 3200 with and RPI exhaust... let me know ;o)

You are right, that does sound good for a 3200. Much better than I thought it would to be honest.
