So for all you guys with tidy decorated garages....Can someone recommend a decent floor paint/covering that will handle a trolley jack getting dragged around on it and some light car maintenance etc...

I've gone with a two pack epoxy. Time will tell!

Our motor transport guys used a standard floor paint and it's stood up well to commercial use after 6 years. So a decent cost effective paint should last longer for domestic purposes.

Done floor paint on mine and bits have come off..!! I once did a large depot in Liverpool with this special paint and it was terrific and never came off even with truck traffic, just can't remember the darn name..!!

they never seem big enough, after only 12 months of building the first one it had a little extension with a lift....;)

Well I finally made use of the garage I have rented up the road due to my double at home being full.

To say it was tight was an understatement.

I took the precaution of gluing carpet to the walls first.

I bought this from eBay to put in my garage walls

Will post about the quality when it arrives.

This is mine btw:

Can barely fit the Fiat500 in the gap between the Maser and the gate.

Still can't get the bike past the car - need to get the car out first , so what happens - well you try driving in leathers and a crash helmet

Desert combats hanging up and I think I spy a Bergan under the bench..
My garage was like yours til I got the car, now practically empty. I moved everything out that could possibly fall or drop onto car.. Hence we have a summerhouse that is now a shed!!!

I'm very excited as I have just exchanged contracts to move to a new house with a double garage (at last!). It's 6m square so I think I should be able to get both GTS's in there and can ditch the car cover I've been using for the Porsche over the last few few months. Can't wait to get in and start decorating the garage...... I mean house (just in case the wife ever reads this).....

Ha ha - desert goretex (issued in May I never saw a cloud for 6 months let alone rain) for those special trips up the garden in the rain to dig up some spuds for dinner! - its not a bergan but my original green T shirt (c1985) now sadly retired to the cotton rag bucket. Bergan is in the loft!

There was no such thing as Desert Goretex when I went - or maybe just us low life - 86-2008 for me!! And my green T-shirts definitely did not last that long!!!!
