Booked for MOT this morning, out to garage, didn't start!! and check engine light, tried again started but no power, oh no, third attempt started and ran ok but engine light still on. Connected to reader throttle position fault. Reset, took for 20 mile run all ok, into MOT station passed with no advisories, phew!
They like to keep you on your toes eh?

very similar thing is happening to me Allan, MOT and it starts but cel comes up after not appearing for well over a year

Isn't it a fail if you have the CEL on now?...maybe its coming in, but I defiantly heard that is was a fail.

Yes it is,I believe, hence I was a bit worried, but cleared it and been ok since.
