Had my GTS detailed last weekend by Chris at Summit Detailing.
First time I've ever had a "detail", gobsmacked by the results. Have to say Chris achieved what I thought were pretty amazing results.
Only 8 months old and washed regularly (admittedly by the local Polish community) but covered in swirl marks, which seem to show up on this colour.
Chris managed to get all the swirls out and is now gleaming better than when new. Also don't rate the Autoglym "life" shine (ha ha).
I think Chris put some pics on his site but happy to recommend.
Cheers Blu

Hand Car washers...would not trust them to do my 20+ year old Golf...dirty water, dirty cloths, leaning over your car with zips/studs etc harsh chemicals and rushing to get every£££ from you, wearing rings...hence all the marks you end up with

Looks beautiful after the detail, stunning colour

can't believe you let the hand car wash people near your car, no wonder it was covered in swirl marks

Yes, its mine Maf!
Take your points guys on the hand car washes. To be honest I've never really noticed on any other car but since this is the best, nicest, most expensive car I've ever owned I'm getting more ocd!. The paint does show up swirls very easily and seems to change colour in different lights so easy to mark.
My local hand car wash are actually pretty good (no zips or jeans!) and they seem to take care but at the end of the day they have to make money and speed/cheap products is how they do it.
Lesson learnt!!
Cheers for the comments.
