Due to lots of underuse, woke up this morning to a dead battery. Half expect it these days with COVID. So I wire up the charger, in-situ charging away. But cant shut driver door now properly, and all the dash needles are jumping and clicking and there's a clicking from around the battery area too. Oddly enough click was still correct, but NIT was asking for radio code before it went too dim to see.
Sure it never did that before, must be some sort of parasitic draw.
Question is should I let it charge on and over come the relay draw, or whip the battery out and charge it unconnected? Thing is really really hate the fight to get the battery out, always do my thumbs or crush a finger.
Must invest in a starter pack, any recommendations? Something portable, not too big since I'd keep it in the boot. Got my eye on this, does up to 6ltr engines, 20 starts, looks quite compact, but it is American
