****. I'm out

Front ABS sensor (will have to wait. HMRC have just taken their cut)
Cracked rear spring (Hopefully warranty wise)
Drop links worn. (Not busted yet. something for the next couple of months)

Matt can you hand off to someone more local? Hopefully Newton? I'll ping him direct.

C

Sorry to hear that Mr C - all of these befell my GTS:

1. a pain as it's a part of the wheel hub, try Warranty Wise too?
2. not as expensive as you might think but best to do both and then re-alignment too
3. does make a big difference when they're changed

Good luck

Had the front springs last year. Good call on the hub. I know WW paid for the springs last so I'm expecting that. I'm sure Sharon will try them all :)

Springs sorted. Drop links should be covered as well. ABS sensor is a bit more touch and go, but I can live with that. Problem is I'm not actually used to owning a warranty!

Thanks, Dem. It would. Currently Newton has offered to be postman. If he has a problem, I'd much appreciate you taking it

Good news on the first two but of course the third one is the most expensive but there's no harm in asking, right?

Yes indeed. If the sensor has failed because of the hub, then it's covered (probably) but the warranty I have doesn't cover wheel sensors per se (but it does cover bearings)

Still, warranty looks like it's paying for itself nicely, so all good :)

I might be able to make this now as had a meeting change. In W1 for one job the meeting in W1 then should be over. So 2pm should be about right.

I'll be in the QP I think. Unless you want to see a hideously dirty XC90 V8!

Having driven 900 miles in two days and gotten up at 4am both day, I'm going to be a no for tomorrow even if my car is ready (still don't know).
Got so much work on I can't spare the time I'm afraid.

I was hoping to come down and see you all at the Ace but things have changed and now I won't be able to. Have a good one and I'll see some of you reprobates later in the month.
