The nation rather vote for a journalist who was balls deep in coked up hookers for most of his career than a lawyer who put terrorists in prison.
Has anyone watched PMQs? Starmer destroys Boris time after time.
But like Trump; Boris is made out of Teflon - nothing sticks.
Everyone loves a winner and admires a likable rogue. However, when said rogue starts to cost the lives of people the voters care about, the rogue's lustre quickly diminishes.
Starmer lacks the killer instinct. He rarely if ever demonstrates any passion. He's another Tony Bliar. Without the charisma. Its obvious that his MPs neither fear nor respect him and he's failed to unite the party. The public loathe divided parties, so no matter how bad Boris gets, they won't vote for a Labour government. Especially with tensions hotting up in Ukraine and Russian submarines and aircraft making almost daily incursions into our areas of interest surrounding the UK.
I watched PMQs a couple of times, after Starmer became leader and it was obvious to me in about two minutes,
that he chokes before the kill, every time. You must see what I mean. I think that Starmer still believes that he's in court and that the logic (if any) of his arguments will suffice. He's in the Colosseum.
In fact, its worse than that. He's in a fighting ring, but he won't come out fighting.
If you've ever stood in the chamber and seen how close two sword's length is, you'd realise that it takes an orator AND a street fighter to survive the Commons chamber.
Yet again we've entered a Yes Minister reality. (if we ever left) The Opposition may be in front of Boris, but the real enemy is behind him
