Hi,

Due to poor repair damage (ex cat D) my assetto corsa has front and rear bumper out of order...

maz-1.jpg

Is it possible to find front and rear spoiler of Gransport MC Victory please?

Best regards,

Are you sitting down!

First of all they are not interchangeable to the 3200 except the back bumper.

Second there has only been one MCV carbon splitter made available second hand in the US in the eight years I have been looking.

Third...the front bumper is almost 2k without the splitter...and the carbon fiber extended splitter is £7k and the rear carbon spoiler almost 3k from Maserati and a special order...more than a cat D 3200 would be worth sadly.

Not sure about the front bumper as the 3200 bonnet /doesn't have the bonnet bulge and is lower so that line down the bonnet I would imagine would be out of line...

3200 and 4200 bumpers are different as the 3200 has the 10(ish) cm piece of bodywork that runs above the bumper, but the 4200 bumper butts up against the bonnet directly. You would need to modify both the bumper and the splitter to get them to mate up, so probably not worth it.

You're right!

"Front spoiler part number 980138309 £3969.50 plus vat

Rear spoiler part number 980138250 £606.90 plus vat (I think there's a mistake!)

Both of these parts are showing stock at the factory and would need to be ordered on a stock order, which would take a wee to arrive.

Our stock order go in to Maserati on Mondays and Thursdays at 11.30"

What?

Could you explain me the difference between 3200 and 4200 bumpers with pics please?

If you look at the pictures at the top of this thread you will see a section of metal bodywork that joins the two wings of the red 3200. This runs between the bonnet and the plastic bumper. Compare this with the 4200 picture where the wings are separate, and the plastic bumper goes all the way up to the bonnet line.

This means that any 4200 style bumper would need to be cut to fit a 3200, even IF the mountings could be modified to be the same.

Also, the 3200 bumper is a single piece with an integrated splitter section, while the GS/MCV/Facelift bumper has a bolted-on splitter section.

so for the front, we have three different bumper styles:
1. 3200 with built-in splitter
2. pre-facelift 4200 with built in splitter
3. all other 4200 variants that have mountings for a separate splitter

and three different splitters
1. Facelift 4200
2. GranSport splitter (deeper and has vented sides)
3. MCV which looks deeper still and is carbon fibre.

Not sure if you could spec a Carbon splitter for the GS as well.

the main thing is that the 3200 is on its own as none of the others fit without modification.

Thank you so much Chrisbassett.

I've seen diagrams on eurospares like this one
http://www.eurospares.co.uk/partTable.asp?M=3&Mo=697&A=2&B=41534&S=

It seems not so difficult to fit them on my 3200 but is it the same headlights, grille with emblem and low-lights than on my Assetto corsa?

As you can see on picture I've seen 4200 bumpers but without grille and lights so I need to be sure that all this parts are the same...

Beyond my knowledge I'm afraid. Maybe talk to David Askew as he breaks cars and knows Maseratis better than most. Should be able to find his details online.

this sounded like a good idea but £7k - are they mad... I also check the cost of the flag on the side of the wing on a MCV a few years back....... about £350

£350...Does that include fitting and annual polish by nubile, scantily-clad young things of your chosen gender?

It's all down to very low volume carbon fiber bits....cost the earth as there were so few MCVs made.

The cheap quote for the rear spoiler is for a standard plastic one not a carbon fiber one.

Also the MCV carbon fiber had a body coloured weave as part of the carbon weave.

Thank you so much.

Finally I've seen my professional, plated bonnet is not the same at the end on 3200 and 4200 so it would be ugly to have 4200 bumper with 3200 bonnet...

Front cross member assy is different too...

I prefere rebuilt my bumpers and create a tuning.
