Hi chaps,

I was sat in Newark airport yesterday reading an article in an American mag about the GranTurismo MC, which looks to me like a sportier version of the GT-S but not an MC Stradale?

http://www.automobilemag.com/reviews/driven/1111_2012_maserati_granturismo_mc_first_drive/index.html

Have I missed a trick here? Is this only available on the US market?

The price seemed resaonable also: $140,000. It looks like the perfect middle territory between a GT-S and an MC Stradale.

Is this what Palmball has? (sorry, not read the full thread yet)

cheers,
pat

I did read that Maserati was bring out a Stradale for the USA....The only difference I though was the fact that it had rear seats...Obviously not..

No, it has the auto box, steel discs, and probably some other differences also, all of which presumably make the price more 'reasonable'...

No bad thing?!

To me, there is no point in stripping down the GT to its bare bones unless it is going to make it noticeably lighter and quicker. I'm guessing the Stradale is still about 1750KG and 0-60 in 4.6ish?

Hardly compares to a GT-3. I'd rather keep the creature comforts.

Too true Pat , anyways wearing a beanie hat whilst driving makes my head itch , least it stops the bruises when whacking yer head on that roll cage
