Last time my battery went flat the screen came back to life in Italian and sulked for a while before remembering where it lives now.

You can take the car out of Italy..., etc. And I far prefer it that way!

So i was lucky when i had to change the battery:laughing:

I'be been experimenting more these few weeks. If I am pushing the car a little bit harder you don't need to lift. Let it Rev a bit higher before changing gear 3.5k and the gear change is smooth whilst keeping your foot planted. If you are driving slower and changing gears around 2.5k it is more noticeable but really only from 1st to 2nd.

This is all in MC Shift mode of course.

Only done around 300 miles since i got the car so i'm still learning the gearbox.I have decided to use the gts for outside town journey and smoking the amg in town.Thanks Hoyin

Agreed - if you're pushing on then lifting is bad, but at more sedate speeds a slight lift does smooth things out a bit. And auto serves no purpose at all under any circumstances.

The only time I push the auto button is to take it out of auto.

But totally agree with what you say. Only lift when you are driving like Miss Daisy.
