I do wonder how much new stock dealers have sat about in yards?

Makes you wonder if there are some good deals to be had. Mind you, dealers don't get much of a discount (as I understand it) but at least they'd be mitigating further loss.

Anyone on here on the hunt for an unregistered previous-style GTS, I wonder..?

I can measure it later for you, not sure of the dimensions. I got it made at a car show, I think it was Santa Pod.

I've had this plate on my old 3200 for years and the GS for quite some time - never had any issues with plod. Even the MOT tester didn't bat an eyelid.
