Maserati Indy - First Proper Drive

I had a new exhaust made for my Indy and decided to take the car for a drive. Apart from a few laps around the neighbourhood, this was the first time I got to drive and experience an Indy on the open road. Wow - what a car!!
There's a bearing inside the gearbox making itself known.

Wonderful car! Sold my 1971, 4.7 Indy in 1990, after about 14 years.

Still have great memories, such as how it seemed to change into a 'different' car - AT 100mph!! Treasure it.

Strangely, my MCV reminds me of the Indy from time to time...

I don't know what the standard size garage is in the UK, but here in SA it's 6x3m, and it fits comfortably.

Lovely, I've always loved the shape of the Indy and what a great engine too.

Would sit nicely next to a QP1 in my dream garage.

Easily. It’s not a big car, and quite narrow.

Yes it will, I kept an Espada in one! Similar sized cars. Small by today's standards.

Funny how an Espada looked HUGE when we were growing up, but is tiny now compared to a 5-Series BMW.
