Seriously though - I agree its over priced. Might be worth getting bits individually dipped?

send the details! The plain plastic bit in the centre really bothers me where the gearbox leavers are!! Maserati silly price is again 1200 for that tiny piece!!!

There are quite a few places online depending on where you are based?
I was thinking of getting a couple more bits done.
Phil (Contigo) on here has a contact who seems to do some good work - and a couple of other forum members had contacts in birmingham etc.

I saw that !! INSANE! Those look **** too - short and stumpy. You can get a full carbon trofeo bonnet for that price (Which is still ridiculous IMHO)

£3k!!!!!!

(sorry I'll calm down in a bit)

<deep breath>
*3*
*FSCKING*
*THOUUUUUSAND*
*POUNDS*!!!!!!!!!

Really, nobody out there has them on the facelift car?
If you still need photos I'll try and get some tomorrow.

(I think Ian's are likely the same as in my Sport, though in the only current photo I have they may be a tad longer).

Crazy price! Didn't pay much more than that for my 56 plate Volvo XC90 4.4 V8!!

That puts it in context. I'm with Stuart - would be happy to have them, but wouldn't pay daft money for them. Better spent on fuel and tyres, in my humble.

Trying to get my head around the allure of carbon fibre. I get it as a material for performance/weight/stiffness, but for bling? Not so sure.

However I'm getting a little bit of paddle envy since my QP doesn't have any. I've tried using the ZF auto box in manual with the stick but the involvement isn't there. I'm not sure that it would change if I had paddles either. The trouble, even though you are n manual, the box auto shifts up anyway when you get to the red line, and down when breaking, say for a roundabout. Wish there was some way of stopping this.

I just want those paddles to grab, and the missing piece around the gear surround that really, really bothers me.

Highly recommend Hydrographic coating them. Hydroprecision did my Spoiler on my old GTS (pictured) and the result was incredible. Only £100 and 2 day turnaround.

Looks like a good job and I see that you bought the stunning blue 2 seater Strad from Nareman by the looks of things - very impressive I have to say and I know that Nareman was very tempted to keep it!

Me to mine are just plain black although a cost option carbon would look so much better

Thanks Stuart, Dream car for me. I had a Black MC Shift a few years ago, then traded it for a 991 Carrera S. When this came up, I bought it as soon as Nareman started it! Theres something really exotic about it.

Getting some bits dipped on mine after Le Mans and fitting some spacers.

Let me know how it goes Phil.

The Alcantara and Carbon interior on mine really makes it feel special. I think Dipping is the way forward rather than buying them exorbitantly from FD etc.

I am still interested in spacers on the back wheels - where did you get them from in the end? What are you getting dipped?
