He was going to get his mate to do it!

Such a shame it's being broken. I remember the rear ended 06 plate GS that was badly repaired. This one could have been an exception, suppose it will be worth more in parts with it being a Cat car.

Just 36k miles too, barely run in - a real shame but that is heavy damage up front

I spoke to him at the weekend about it, he was thinking about having it repaired but just too heavily damaged to straighten.

Is he on the forum by any chance? I am on the edge of buying quite a few parts from this car to fit in my 4200 and i try to get some info around how reliable he is.

Really nice guy, I went to his house wed evening to pick something up , don't think you'll have any problems , he's not your usual scrapyard owner who'll sell you anything working or not , I heard him tell a guy on the phone he wouldn't sell something because he wasn't happy with it

I can also vouch for him. Only issue you may have, is he can sometimes be too busy and can struggle to answer straight way. Nothing an extra phone call doesn't sort though.

I suppose there is that :) . I just need to keep my mileage down, as I've done over 2000 miles since buying it in April but saying that, I bought it to drive it and enjoy and while the weather is somewhat nice. Otherwise winter car hibernation time will be here very quickly.

Ha....I checked my MOT and have only managed 3250 in 18months...Had we not driven to Italy that would have been 2500 less...In fact since Sept I have only managed <250; I need to get out more.

One of the reasons I didn't want a low mileage car is I wanted to use it , not worry about how much I was devaluing it by driving it, bottom line is if you'd bought any mainstream 20k car you'd lose 30% in the first 12 months, so if adding 10k to your Maserati devalues it by that much you're no worse off and enjoyed it much more

Correct, mine is high mileage, and drives all the better for it.

Get your driving your cars people, we never know what is around the corner for any of us. Live life to the full and if you have the car, don't be afraid to use it.
That's my sage advise foe the day!

Exactly, enjoy yourself while you can, too many people worry about tomorrow then before tomorrow comes it's all over
