Discussed that GTi comment with the sales guy, he's convinced that a lot of 4200/GS buyers are the sort who might be queuing up for the new GTi. I'm not a car salesman and I'm not going to tell him how to do his job, so I'll just let the car sell itself.
Needless to say it's been garaged, nannied, mothered, everything ... I even had the electric window buttons replaced because they were showing very slight signs of wear.
I did 7-8000 miles in it during my ownership, it's never missed a beat. As a grand tourer should be - trustworthy and reliable!
