Apparently, if the car wasn't initialised on a level floor it can show up odd readings if later interrogated on one. The sensors show loadings which were present due to the lean of the car and can, I'm lead to believe, throw out the suspension ECU calculations.

You thinking of the ABS sensor, Benny? Surely it only cares about rotational speed. Not talking the accelerometers here.

Very impressive; sorry I couldn't get across to Chris' in time today but I didn't finish my works on the car till gone midday... I could really use a clutch reading before Italy if there is a possibility...

I will PM you - I have some free time this weekend.

Great stuff when can you come and give my 3200 a health check?

I don't think it'll do a 3200 but I'm willing to give it a go - bring it over!

I thought so. Same as mine then. I've got the unidiag software but not used it yet. What interface do you use with yours? I have an elm 327 and a k line and also the three pin plug adaptor for Fiats (used for my Guzzi). Just curious to know which works best.

I use a standard OBD2 cable (kkl 409.1) which I had from Audi days and connect that to a 3 pin adapter to make it Lancia Fiat compatible.

Exactly wanted to see more info than Unidiag gives really something more akin to sD2 examiner output

I just had 2b1ask1 pop round my house for a diagnostic session on this 4200. He was worried about his clutch wear since it was last changed 47,000 miles ago. What we found was one of the best set up clutches I have seen. The degradation index was a mere 2729 - indicating that the flywheel and clutch friction material were in rude health. To put it into context, this is better than my F430 which is the next generation of gearbox control. Contributing to this was a low PIS of 4.8mm.

Anyway, does anyone want to have a guess as to his clutch wear after going to the moon and back?

; 0) OK so now knowing the miles I would guess at 1% per 1k miles....so thats 47%.

That is my average with the last three CC coupes I have owned.

You guys aren't easily impressed! It was 68% which I thought was very good going for a clutch of that age. What was surprising was how good the degradation index was.

No TCU, and Magneti Marelli, so possibly not.

Just so I'm clear, the engine management is Magneti Marelli? If so then we can't go in using any Ferrari/Maserati protocols. However, is the same management used on any other car, for example an Alfa? If so I will check to see if the tool supports that model and if it does then we have a chance.

I believe it is Weber Magneti Marelli 4CM . If it helps I can rummage in the car and confirm. (2001 model.)
