Cheers Newton will bear that in mind and hope for good karma.
They are fully insured so it says and they tell me they have taken recently Super cars so fingers crossed mate.
Here is a picture of her with the Classico wheels on freshly refurbed.
Just waiting for my 7 spokes to come back then she can have the best of both for these Indian summer days we're having.
No that's my standard Ferrari 360 system that's about to go on ebay unless any one wants it, plus I have some Kawasaki Z900/1000 bits and pieces to move on circa 1976.
84k I think now. Cam covers could do with sealing up, and there's much cosmetics. Only other bits I'm seeing now are
1) Slight fluffiness <2k revs. Suspicious of both clutch (post Modena) and MAF. No CEL but I'll get Aldous to have a scan when he does the PIS reset and read.
2) When I press wiper up for one wipe, it's juddering. Buzzing coming from relay in fusebox. Worst case this will be a new wiper install. That's about an hour. No big deal.
Chris,
They can judder a bit on one wipe, it's usually the track on the motor having dull bits on it, you can clean these up and it cures the issue usually..!!
Phil,
Sounding good mate, they like being used these engines..!!
Cheers
R
Pretty much what I'm expecting, Robert, but as a daily driver, I try to have the bits I need to get it working again to hand
It's not a big deal as everything else works perfectly
Just a bit of an update guys.
I have the 4200 in the workshop to get ready for compliance and to give her a good check over wishbones particularly and they are good.
My boss says Phil we need some standard exhausts for a customer's 4200 do you fancy some Tubis ?
I couldn't say yes quick enough.
I love working for Auckland Maserati.
Phil.
Cheers Mike loving it.
Been life changing for me in many ways and I get to drive many Maserati's.
We're also a Lotus dealership and I must admit I'm getting to like these Toyota powered ones.
We have a full on race 211 in the showroom.
