Hope this is not unmentionable but will anyone be going to this, if the weather is nice then I wouldn't mind driving down to give my wife a break and it would be a good excuse for me to enjoy even more beautiful cars and some nice Jazz music.

Not at all. There's a lot of nice people who go. The owner of the pub has a couple of Masers.

My exhaust is a bit asbo though! However, once parked you'd never know!

Decent food at the pub as well.

Book into the Ashford International and you've a decent hotel ten-fifteen minutes away.

Generally about who has the biggest bank balance or who can look down their nose the longest at anyone who doesn't fit their "clique"

I say we all go, take some hard hitters in the Maserati exhaust world, a couple of bottles of Vodka Caramel, Skittle bombs. Wind Benny up and throw him in their and stand back and enjoy the fireworks!

Is it really that bad? They've certainly have had a good turnout of cars in the past and are real enthusiasts but I have never actually been so can't say but it sounds like it's worth the trip just to see the trousers - like a day out to see the cricket at Lords by the looks of things!

Jim the landlord is a Maserati and supercar enthusiast.

The Summer Party has been going for several years now and is well supported. It was originally an exclusive Maserati event but is now open to all marques - I understand that there was some fine classics on show at the 2015 party.

All tongue in cheek mate, I've only met a few of them at the Silverstone Classic a few years ago. I would say we definitely go against the Norm or what the perceived Maserati driver is like, e/g we are lacking class, inverted snobs , hedonistic, beer swilling, ASBO exhaust modding petrolheads!!!
