You're on the money, Dave. I spent as little time in France as possible and made a dash for Belgium. Have stopped overnight on the Belgian/German border and will be enjoying the autobahns of the fatherland tomorrow. I'm aiming to be in Bormio tomorrow evening, it's a fair trek from here but should be achievable.
I just couldn't let it pass me by. Boss left early and I've just bought Mrs MAF the puppy she's wanted for years, so my planets were aligned and it was time to take advantage of the situation.
