Are we certain it's not an AC? Some folk don't like the wheels, can't see the sill plates, pictures aren't very detailed so I'm not certain. I'm 99% it's not an AC but you never know.

No AC numbered badge on the glovebox, no contrasting piping on the seats and dash... Chances are pretty slim it's an AC.

Thought there needed to be contrast piping. I looked at the glovebox but it could feasibly by chopped off the picture although highly unlikely. Decision made, not an AC.

There are quite a few without any of those Neil , most are european or out in Asia , and occasionally find themselves back in the UK , quick phone call will soon rectify all , get that all important Vin and do a check

And Dicky i can just hear your mind whirring in the hope that your suspicions are wrong , a deal to be done for sure if your wrong eh

With the ASR and PWR button turned off this car is as safe as a daily runnabout, turn them off and its a whole different beast.
OK then

The car was registered in March 2002 and its RHD auto so would be in the minority for an AC. Some AC's sat around unsold for a while so why would anyone import one unless they specifically wanted an auto that wasn't available? (And think of the cost anyway)

Maybe the clue is in the seller's eBay ID.

Also, if it has the PWR button then it doesn't even have the Sport suspension. So, not only isn't it an AC, it's also a low spec 3200! (perhaps an import, if PWR?)
