might have taken a bit of time but she is fully sorted so worth the wait!
phil identified what the problem was. seems at some point in her past she had a similar problem of losing oil out of the back of the gear casing where it joins the shaft only rather than replace the gasket like they should have some bodger had just put some sealant at the join! was only a matter of time before it went and guess brunty was the last straw for the old girl. luckily because I did not drive her far I did not do any damage internally, so a new gasket, bolts and gearbox service and she is back to her usual top performing self...........to be dry tomorrow so order is wash, quick polish and out
