Bit more detail... I just wasn't feeling it from the start. Not the spec or the car... just that the car had been "used" rather than "cared for" by its previous owner (if you know what I mean!)

Exterior:
Avon tyres... not OEM Pirellis
Front badge de-laminating
All four alloys kerbed
Badly touched in dink on driver's door edge
Rear screen de-laminating
Paint rubbed through to black undercoat on side mirror housing edges

Interior:
Non-OEM stereo nasty
No Auditorium 200 badges on speakers
Lots of pitting/scratches on driver door trim where seat belt had hit it
Lots of pitting/scratches on back of front seats (kids in back?)
Worn drivers seat pull handle
Generally scruffy

I know all the above are minor and some are common GranSport issues. They can be fixed... but it shows how little care the previous has lavished. So not for me.

Next!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess that puts me in the Maserati 'drive it like you stole it' car culture way of thinking.

If your interested i know of a lovely solid Black Gransport LE with avorio interior , just so happens it lives 150 yards from me and has only just come to light, guy works away a lot (after sales for Ducati ) and has only done 2k miles in it since he bought itn from ADG last september , sounds the same spec as Franks 4200 or Woody's gransport

Spoke to his wife today and he's not back till Monday , had a quick once over and its well clean , apparently he's now after a Turismo so ready to sell

regards loz

There's no rush... it's a second car. If I haven't found anything suitable by October time I'll probably stop looking until early spring next year!

The car that Dicky had from Autoshield was in brilliant condition, shame you did not go for that.

Mike,
No I don't think that was Marios's car, they must have just checked that over. I think Marios was selling a Spyder, which was absolutley immaculate. Sorry my mistake. That's a nice car though at Dicky's.
I'm sure Dem would sell you his AC for £30K.
Cheers
