100% mark up in less than a year, has there been a sheep shortage due to weather causing the price of wool to double?
At £70 they would have been on par with the internet manufacturers and would have definitely had my business first time round. Now I'm sitting on a loss of £54 and waiting to see what my credit card company get out of the supplier of my rubbish ones...

Just to bring this up again, as I have already replied, I paid £61.81 last year for a blonde set for my 4200.
Anyway decided to drop Brooklands Leeds an email about a blue set, to match my blue piping, that will easier to keep clean.
The price.....£64.94, only a slight increase on last year, so I have ordered a set, delivery a week or so from Italy. No rush.

I therefore question whether the higher price forum member have obtained are for the base carpets, and not the clip-in over mats?

Believe it or not but yes there is a shortage although only in England iirc the huge amount had to be culled due to some sort of disease as far as I'm aware it hasn't affected welsh or scottish sheep or europian ones the price of lamb has shoot up by me due to it.

I must give them a ring. I called 2 Maserati dealers and both gave the same price, so thought it was little point calling any others

I have priced these carpet mats up for you however there are*3 options depending on what is in your vehicle so below are the options and the prices & availability
*
RHD standard in black
981205900
£132.88
RHD optional with fire extinguisher
981206000
£139.04
RHD optional with foot rest plate
981213500
£138.16
*
All prices are plus VAT and we need to order them in from Maserati.
My Stock orders are placed on a Monday and Thursday before 10:00am
They have to come in from Italy so it will take a week from order on a stock order
If you needed them quicker there is an option of an overnight delivery which gets flown over from Italy and is normally delivered next day. To have this service there will be an extra £40 plus VAT charge for the air freight.
*
If you would like them ordering you can either ring or email me with credit/debit card details to get the order processed

Hi David,
*
With reference to the carpet set I purchased from you late last year (WIP No. P24263, DOC No. 54107025, Account No. C5001) can you please look at the price and delivery for the same, but instead of 'Blonde', dark blue instead?
*
Thanks,

Just picked up my blue carpet overmats, for £64.94 inc.vat, for my early 4200.
It appears that for a later 4200 VIN number, the mats are a different part number, and double the price.
So the later 4200 must have a different shape/fixing method, or Maserati change the part number for later cars to charge more, but they are the same?!

image.jpgThought about getting some mats over the weekend and remembered this thread about 2 different prices for pre and post facelift 4200s. The price is double. The above mats are from my car and to me look the same as the others.

I queried this with the dealer and was told the newer mats are different and will not sit properly. When I originally asked about the price he gave me the cost of the more expensive mats without knowing what year my car was... Is someone pulling my leg..?

Can anyone confirm that the mats on the older 4200 fit the newer facelift model?

I will have to get my mats out and have a look to compare with the above, they look very similar, but may have subtle differences for the huge extra amount. Unless Maserati do like a lot of manufacturers, when a car get's around 10 years old, they have a reduced price spares/accessories list..??
When I get a few minutes with no rain, I will try and get them out and photograph them.
