Nice motor. Slightly dodgy provenance.

"Sadly, due to the manner through which the car has come to us, we have no documented history"

"It is understood that the chassis and engine numbers shown in the auction catalogue for that auction differ from the ones actually on the car"

"We have also had a new set of keys cut for the ignition(x2), driver’s door lock, petrol cap access hatch lock, boot lock and glove box lock. "

"The odometer shows 17093km and our research into the cars MOT history suggests this may be accurate."

The bankruptcy practice that was/ is selling this, is only 10mins from my home (located behind a rather lovely independent Aston garage), they get some amazing things passing through their hands.
I might pop in and see if this car is still for sale and see it in person, it is rather gorgeous.

********! Just because the online mot history says that doesn't mean it's not been round the clock. I've seen this on an advert for I car I used to own and it had been round the clock twice when I had it!

They do get some interesting stuff including the remnants of the Bristol Cars business and W-Series race cars.

The Merc was listed last year but is still on their website, so maybe worth checking. If it could be legally registered for road use and was priced correctly the mileage and history wouldn't worry me. It's still a nice car and would be great on a sunny day.
