No, I haven’t found that one in my searches. Thank you for posting. It looks to be quite optimistically priced, although it is quite a late one with the AC wheels. I think we could be heading for a bit of a downturn at the moment …
This one just bombed on Trade Classics with a paltry 4 bids taking it to £2601 . It may have over 90k on it but £2.6k ?!?

Yeah, I was watching it. Unbelievable, when far worse cars that were just parts / big projects have recently sold on eBay for at least double … and this car was a runner with an MOT! Perhaps the war in Ukraine and chronic threats to oil prices and the economy have knocked the joie de vivre out of people at the moment!

I agree, think you may have a point there

I saw that....
Needed work. No cam belt in five years...
I’m guessing it never hit reserve...!
Outliers..
Yes, def needed (needs) work. No idea what the reserve might have been. However this is the same car currently on Ebay. DVLA MOT History for this Ebay car and Trade Classics are one and the same.

It’s a car I took in px from @redsonnylee about 5 years ago. I sold on in the trade, I think it was about £6-7k back then with 84k miles on it.

If that's the same car on E Bay that was on trade Classics there is a certain difference in expectation even if the auction didn't attract many bidders

Yes it’s the same car. I saw it about 18 months ago when it changed hands for about £7k.

Somebody needs a reality check then
Id be the first admit I have been surprised to see 3200s changing hands for the high teens..!
I thought this a £7-8K car( at best , really ) - sub £10K anyway.
Its a mixed bag of cars, condition, and sellers who either refuse to recognise their worth, are in no hurry to sell, or just have no real handle on the prices...
No wonder I get confused...!

It’s been a two-tier market for about 5-10 years now. Good ones with sub 60k miles on them generally worth £15-25k. Poor/average ones or high milers etc are worth somewhere from £4k as a breaker to about £14k as a really good high miler.

That certainly reflects my experience of looking for a 3200 over the last 3 months. I can’t help but wonder if we’re now at a tipping point though, given the emerging crisis(?) … Time will tell.

I don’t think it’ll affect 3200’s much. All the stuff that’s overvalued will soon fall.
