Do I detect a theme..?Too kind, sir.
Now in Chartres, beers being consumed.
And how was the beer?
Just WOW. Back late yesterday...So many interesting cars, in paddock and more in car park, camp sites and owners clubs. Everything from a Jensen FF (how did they afford the fuel?) to a Maserati Bora (didn't sell at auction), I offered to take it off their hands if they paid for the transport but they were sniffy. At our Maserati dinner a Ghibli set on fire and the power failed so we had to drink gallons of champagne before it got warm. Such stories such memories a defo bucket list thing.
You definitely spend more time at the track and the great British welcome has some amazing old motors normally. The car clubs zre pretty well supported too.I can only echo your comments. I've been to the 24 many times, but this was in a different league for me - so much interesting and varied metal everywhere. Great memories!
