Sorry Dave & others for keeping quiet...had to work Sat and saw this car for the first time late Sat night. Called him Sunday morning & went straight down there to view. Very straight honest car & guy. Deal done, transfer funds last night & collected today. Finally my first Maser!

Thanks, would have been pints on me if I had stuck to my ideal budget or bought Alex's! Hard time to take a bit of time out of work as snowed but had to do it. Cars & 4200's like this in this condition with 11k miles on don't come along often it seems. I thought it was worth almost bankrupting me for it ;)

The funny thing was that I have been following all the Maser forums mainly this one for months. I totally missed this post/thread! Only stumbled across the car direct on the other forum as got so frustrated I was checking everywhere! Then I saw this thread after and thought how that would have save me a lot of time and hassle. More than happy to buy you a pint though if you are ever around Hertfordshire way ;)

Doing well now then, all we need is Dave Walker and Geoff Capes to get their finger out and into a trident :)

Indeed. ..the 4200 is a more usable car as a GT as I find the GS is trying too hard to be a sports car for which it has two seats too many. Dont get me wrong it is a nice car and I enjoy the ownership...but it is my third now and it may be that I am tiring of all the silly issues, costs, and other related expenses that comes with the brand...or even I am falling out of love (done that lets try something different) 8 years with Maserati this year.

8 years straight of 4200 ownership would be enough to bore anyone. Mix it up a bit. Try a GT, a QP, a 3200, or even a classic. You don't need to move from the Maserati brand though, you just need a different model.

I'm working on it. Friday's meeting with potentially a huge new client will give me a better idea of how soon a Maserati will be sitting on my driveway.

Don't forget we need Andy K to get back in one instead of keep buying BMW'S.
I will keep reminding him from New Zealand.
Have a good Thursday all.

Going OK Phil.
The weather is very warm and humid which I find a bit hard going especially being the oldest in the workshop but I'm adjusting OK.
The NZ way can be a little frustrating at times and not wanting to offend anyone as they are the friendliest nation I have come across.
Our container is a little behind schedule but arriving on the 5th of Feb so not long to go.
