Cheers Peter, I'm sure you know who's car it is, just having a couple of minor things rectified then all good to go.

I'm very disappointed not have had a spin in this.... Maybe I'll take it for a test drive, kick the tyres a bit ....

I didn't much care for the Mp4, I would have a 458 over it in a heartbeat. Not a decision I am ever likely to make but if the lottery ever comes in for me, that's my other weekend car!

I agree with you on that, Ian. There are a couple near where I live (one in a hideous colour reminiscent of Ford Signal Orange) and they just do nothing for me. The 458 is Ferrari's prettiest car since the F355 IMO.

Ferrari have had years to perfect the art of making supercars ( and still sometimes **** up - Ferrari FF anyone? ) but mclaren have only had a few years...... Give em a chance.....

And they are British....

Agree...I do love the 458 but at times I feel it's trying too hard.....It's do complicated......To me its a design that will date unlike th 355 that still looks great today because it is a simple shape....

Whilst the 458 is all very nice, when it comes to bang for buck a Balboni is awesome value for money :D

(Watch from 3min onwards ;) )

Would never have bet on that happening Dan....Great stuff...And you could save at least 70k on buying your Lambo against a used 458...and too me it's a less cluttered design to.

Who'd have thunk that? Good effort though, I bet the 458 driver was a little miffed!

Sadly there will be a gap in the stable for a while until my new business is producing a decent amount of cash.

Although I am toying with getting rid of the X5 as well (seeing as I bought it a couple of years ago to deal with the snow, and it's rubbish in the snow or even wet grass for that matter) and perhaps buying an uber comfy barge like this:

I continually look at those sorts of Bentleys with an admiring eye, my better half says I'd look like a bit of **** so I've never been down that route. I think they're the dog's nuts :)

Ah, now seen some other posts about dog food! Out of solar pv now?

It's the tyres on X5s that are ****, change those and it would be ok.

There are lots of big saloons that are cheap, the Bentley Conti has low values..................then there is a QP.

Enjoy what you get.
