Knew Maserati's were good...this 4200 is utterly addictive

I know it's only four days since I bought my 4200 05 plate 17k Cambiocorsa so am obviously in the new toy stage. However after 300 miles and my BMW as my general run around I cannot leave the Maserati in the garage and find myself using it on routine errands etc.

My Ducati 998 has always delivered the speed and exotic Italian fix over the years. Both huddled in my garage, I can't see me riding much this summer!
What a car!! The chassis and suspension and balance is mind blowing, the transmission smooth as...a previous M5 BMW now pales by comparison. Having wrecked the clutch and flywheel on the previous BM I do lift a little until the clutch has bitten on this 4200. New clutch fitted 800 miles ago.

With only 18k on the clock I can feasibly put 20k on this beaut and she'll still be a low mileage car. Only going to be spring/summer use as well.

The best until last..what an engine! Words cannot do it justice so I'll finish there.

Justy, welcome, I've had mine for 5 years now and I can handle the addiction, it's not a problem. I could sell it tomorrow. I won't miss it, no. That v8 roar, the instant acceleration, the supreme comfort, the looks from other people as I drive along the sea front. I wouldn't miss that at all...

I know how you feel.

Two months into ownership and I still drive it at every available opportunity.

Yep; hook, line and sinker...

It ends up a bit like the Ox-Bridge rule; Apparently ex students of Oxford or Cambridge have to mention this fact in the first ten minutes of any meeting with a new person. You will end up in the same boat!

Just add more noise for perfection...

I know that feeling and I've only had the car for three weeks. We ran out of milk yesterday, rather than walk to the corner shop 4 doors down, I suggested a drive to Scarborough from York :D

Can we have photos of the Ghibli S? :)

What options did you go for?

I think its a great all round car.

There was a demonstrator near me I was tempted by

I'll do photos when the weather improves. Just as it looks like its going to be fine it clouds over :D

Options wise I went for a demonstrator which had:

Skyhook
Black Brake Callipers
20" Urano Alloy Wheels
Cold Weather Pack
Convenience Pack

Have to say its very very nice. I wasn't going to go for an S but the drive in the demonstrator, and the price, convinced me. I'm glad that I did. It also has paddles but I'm not sure if they were standard on a 2015 car or another option.

I am not sure about paddles. I would say they are essential in an S...

There was a grey one for sale for ages (may still be) for low 40s but with no paddles and 18 inch wheels!
