Just upset a Nissan GTR owner

I wish I could say I left him standing and all he could see was the smoke from my tyres but I think he would have had be in that aspect my "win" was much more satisfying.

One of our sales guys has just got him self a GTR 09 plate really nice and quiet a machine. All week we have been having some light hearted banter, I sent him a Nissan Sunny Advert he sent me a Fiat owners club link!!

Anyway driving home tonight we managed to be sat on the A13 slip road in traffic me in front of him, so a white van pulls up beside us creeps pass the GTR without even acknowledging it get level with the Massa gives a loud toot on his horn arm out the window big thumbs up and "nice car mate".

That's 1-0 to the 10k Italian v the 30k Datsun!!!

Just shows as much as the auctions are tipping towards the Japanese cars in the price stakes the average petrol head will always go Italian.

Th Datsun is a great performance car...But the Maserati has something it doesn't...Passion....

Drove the 12 reg one, more brake and its the fastest ive ever driven....

Cant compete with maserati, but for passion and feel good....cant have a nissan

It's a very impressive car in all areas except for looks and heart, really doesn't do it for me.

My friend(MC Stradale) raced this GTR last week, 1km run starting from 1st gear rolling start. Both cars stock, the GTR managed to pull about 2-3 car lengths ahead. I was very sad but there is a reason why they call the GTR 'Godzilla'.

I'm amaze it ws that close, unless the GTR was an early 478BHP car.Since 2012, they've been 530 out of the box, and 550BHP for more recent ones.Very very quick cars.
