The trouble I had back then was I would take some photos on my cheap camera and after 2 weeks at the chemist being processed only a couple would come out, the rest would be a blurred mess and I would be £2 out of pocket.

The pistol was a present from distant family in Boston where we visited in 75 for the Bicentenial. The road has changed a lot, but I can still see where most of the stuff was......

I was 14 and had a skateboard.

We spent all the summer holidays outside building camps and damming streams in fact August bank holiday we dammed one stream to come back a few days later to find out we have flooded the new build building site at the end of the road. The builders had a JCB up to the middle of its back wheels in a small lake looking for the blockage. We decided not to tell them they were looking in the wrong place

Remember water stand pipes in the road, but they never actually turned off the water.
Wasn't it tanning oil back then, with no uv protection!!

Yes, the tanning oil was meant to get you browner quicker than ‘normal’ sunlight. As a 9 year old, I remember pulling strips of skin off each other’s backs. My younger sister was only 7! It felt like we spent the whole summer at the beach. I do check my back in the mirror from time to time now

I started of with a drum brake until I modified the bike and myself on the side of a Vauxhall Viva SL90, I decided to replace the front end with a DX conversion to disk brake.
