Wanting to get a jack that can fit under and manage the GT. have now got the caliper script in white to go on the blue calipers (company originally sent black doh) so wheels off time. Any recs without breaking the bank?

sorry - only read the title :) I have QP so might not be same stance, but this Sealey low profile is decent and quite low. If buying another I would get a lightweight racing unit which is possible to pick up without letting out a gasp and bit of wee. they even have a carry handle , noticeable absent from my unit.

Im looking at quick jacks but hard to justify the man maths at present. I might buy a low profile jack rated to 2.5T.

I have a Wolf Black Jack, fits under the FF nicely. I expect it would fit under a GTS as well. It's a 2.5t version, perfectly adequate for the odd job such as swapping winter and summer wheels. You probably have one, but you'll need a torque wrench as well to set the wheel bolts correctly and check them after 100miles or so.

I have the SGS racing jack. They tend to be good value and when I did a lot of lift and shift for work we used this stuff exclusively and they do in house certification.

Zep. They look well priced. Do you have the 1.5 or 2.5 ton? The bigger unit almost as heavy as steel unit.

I have 1.5 tonne. You are never going to get 75% of a 2 tonne car sitting on the jack.

I’ve got some SGS stuff they’re good and if something does go wrong they’re a U.K. company who you can speak to.

My trolley jack is heavy, but 2.5t...? Picking that up is Geoff Capes territory. Although his would be 2.6t

Mines similar to the low profile 2 ton draper above. Also have a TVR which is impossible without a low profile jack or blocks of wood to drive onto. Quick lift feature is useful.
I’ve just got a set of Tesla jack pads off amazon too which work really well slotting into the inch-ish diameter round holes under the GT/GC, they bring the jacking point down to flush with the outer sills.

I've got the SGS 2.5t race one. It's heavy to lift so I'd recommend the 1.5t. If you want a 2.5t one, you can have mine if you buy me the 1.5t racing jack.
