So - 3.5 years after standing by the side of the road watching my 3200GT destroyed by a spinning Evo, I have finally returned to the fold.
Thanks to DickyGrace for his approach to selling used Maserati's (inspected and put right BEFORE sale), not only am I thrilled with being back behind the wheel but immensely CONFIDENT in my purchase. And with the previous owner Andrew living just a few miles from me, we can get together over a vino or two to put its history together.
Maybe now I can look to organising the meet at my restaurant in Warwick that I discussed with Loz, Mark and Roger a few years ago?
And finally, learning that my new mistress was registered just two weeks before I jacked in the Corporate life and bought a restaurant (March 2004) smacks of huge serendipity.
But my ... How the 4200 progressed over the 3200GT. Much tighter, Sport mode(!!!) and in the right gear she just PULLS. Maybe not the Turbo rush, but thrilling nonetheless.
I'm in lust again!
