Just came here to say the same :)
Car looks and sounds very good1

Also, James is clearly not used to driving 60s convertibles. In comparison to those, 4200 / GS Spyders are the pinnacle of advancement in terms of scuttle shake.
(that might not be the fairest of comparisons, and I might be ever so slightly biased)

Fairly honest review really, someone should lend him a 2003 or gransport spyder as I’m led to believe they have improved. In the meantime if anyone has any suggestions to cure the scuttle shake i would like to know.
I see Giallo are advertising a coupe with enhanced suspension, I’d like to know what they do?https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202210180830686

Sounds like they lower it it to Gransport ride height, and adjust the geometry.

I wonder if 3200 braces would fit 4200. Having never been under either I have no idea.

It fits between the wishbone mounts, so won’t do anything to a spyder shell.

I also don’t get it, a bit of extra pipe between bits of the car that are already connected by massive girders anyway.

I think because it has a transmission tunnel without bracing not a flat floor, it lacks rigidity and torsional stiffness front to rear i.e twisting because there’s no roof to connect the front to the rear other than the doors which are not fixed.

It would be interesting to see them side to side. It wouldn’t be the work of years to add some box section bracing.

Also, video is great.
