Is rear parking sensors not available a common issue?

In order

No, although I have sourced cheaper replacements

Rear bumper off

SD3 is the only sure way to tell, but in my case it's obvious from the display. You can get someone to sit in the car with the brake on *firmly*. Engage reverse, then go and listen / or touch each sensor. The working ones will be audibly / obviously ticking. The one that isn't is your problem

Probably

Maybe irrelevant but my 159 sensors don’t work on very hot days - possible cause?

Same. My failing one has always been much less happy in heat.

My bathroom scales are the same, when the suns on them they seem to stick and don't read correctly

When its cloudy or less warm they work perfectly, so what all that about!

My Brera ones don't work after a few days of rain. I assume it is one of the connectors getting wet, they usually start working again after a few dry days. I don'e want to remove the bumper to get to the centre connectors so just live with it.
