I thought I'd let everyone know about my recent installation of the Dension Gateway 100 in my 4200 (2002).

My Masa has the awful NIT unit under the armrest. I have wanted to be able to connect my iPhone to it and now I can.

I ordered the Gateway 100 direct from the dension webshop. It took about 3 weekes to get from Budapest to Melbourne, but I think that had a lot to do with how they addressed the package. It is completely plug and play and replaces the connection for the CD stacker in the boot. I have a stacker, but it doesn't work. :-(. AFter getting to the back of the NIT in the armrest I simply connected the cable in to the bak, connected the iPhone cable to the Gateway 100 and voila! iPhone tunes through the car stereo.

A few things I should point out.

1. I don't have control through the car controls, I have to change songs on the iPhone.
2. The Gateway 100 fits neatly behind the NIT unit next to the rear passenger heater outlets.
3. The display just shows CD5 and track 99.
4. It charges my iPhone at the same time.

The Dension site said I needed to have a 6CD stacker system. I think if I did that I would probably have control through the car stereo controls. Overall I am happy. I can now listen to decent music rather than relying on what the radio station want me to hear.

Good simple solution. Dension products are usually the best around in my experience. How much did they charge you foe it if you don't mind sharing?
