Hi all
I received a quote from Churchill today for my 2007 QP
Last year I got a great deal with them for around £150 then £30 off cashback
Todays renewal quote (due in Feb) is for £282.
So I guess I will be visiting Martin Lewis website again and going through the motions
Last year it took about an hour to sift through
hey ho

Yes afraid so, 62
committed to 8000 miles pa
full ncb protection
sole driver (I may put my wife on the renewal to see if that alters things)
garaged up at night
engineer or retired which ever is cheapest
so if I can repeat a cash back deal too...................
I will let you know how it goes

I just did quick quote for a Gransport, £450 - No ncb (As all on Passat at moment), Garaged, wife on it, that included modded exhaust.

Not too bad I guess as to change no claims from Passat may not work as do 18k miles a year.

Anyway - that was first one past the post.

One call direct, never had an accident and 4 year NCB. Must be my age.

Thought so, similar to me. Although still staggered by the price with 4 years NCB! Guess the amount of idiots driving round with no insurance aren't helping the rest of us.....

Last year £650, now £411
4200cc
Can't believe that turning 30yrs old and hitting 10yrs NCB made such a big difference!

Question... What's everyone's opinion on insurance a 2nd vehicle? Any wins? It seems that in order to pay a reasonable price on the Maser I have to use my NCB on that car, then whatever I have as second car seems to be about the £700 mark!

Mine was insured with full NCB, but is now on a policy requiring no NCB. It's not a classic policy either, but a limited mileage specialist policy being very mod friendly with track cover too.

Oh I pay £500 a year. Over 40, garaged, 5 free track days, no claims or convictions etc mileage limited to 4k but won't do anything near that unfortunately.
