Insurance Games

Just checking out prices for renewal and tried removing my wife (only on insurance) to see what it did to the policy price (on Admiral) guess what???? An increase of £150! So, I have found her true value (runs for cover!).

Even worse, tried changing garage to keeping on a drive - reduction of £1 then thought what the **** - leave it on the street, further £1 reduction. WTF Absolute nightmare! Anyway, have called A Plan and they are doing some checking around to get a price for me.

So when browsing the sites remember to add family members and say you leave your car on the street for a good deal! :ohh:

What i do now is get quotes in a ficticious name , but using all my exact details , surprising how they vary when you supply the same details with my proper name , i think half of it is a sham and a complete waste of time , Aplan have always given me a good price , not quite the cheapest , that was Mayfair (performance car insurance ) so i have stuck with them and so have about 2/3 rds of owners i believe

Right that's chicken fillets off my future menu.

Just heard I'm having chicken this evening with pasta.
Will try to put that thought out of my mind whilst easting.:dry:

Thanks Dave! With that hand-off you must be in politics!

Easting - Truncation of East Midlands Dogging. In these parts they keep it in the family. Mind you pretty much everyone you meet in these parts is their sister's uncles first cousin's brother's nephew. Especially if you come from Anstey, or Rothley, or Shelthorpe, but most definitely Shepshed. (I exclude myself obviously as I'm an immigrant)
