Plummeting DG...?.....when will they bottom out...............?

P

They'll follow Quattroportes down I reckon, 9 years old, £15k, won't be far off. It's a better car than an early QP but they also sold far more than they did QP's 2016, 80000 miles, £15k. Not got a prediction wrong yet, I said £30k for a high mileage GT by Easter, 10 weeks to go, I reckon there'll be one somewhere!

The first GranTurismos' are now over five years old and many have high miles which, I guess, is why they are dropping in price a fair bit. I know it's not great for you but it's good to see that margins have fallen as, historically, dealers have applied Ferrari pound note margins to used Maserati which - given the cars' low values - could make the gross margin half the trade value of the car. Shows that the brand is now becoming more established.

I agree, many people are scared of selling the older ones, not so the new generation but this does mean that the marketplace is more competitive, lots of dealers having a go at selling them.
