Hi all, old and new friends.
Been a while since I was on, lots of reasons I will not bore you all with the reasons (mostly to do with health linked to age :( )
Still have the 4.7 sport GT and although I only run her in summer she has been wonderful, other than a wet service she has cost me nothing......so as much as I love and miss the the 32 (especially Marci :( ) this car is still brings smiles for miles when the exhaust is open! Those that remember me will know that bodywork wise she is now perfect and I have fitted a rear spoiler and done the brakes in neon yellow to make her pop.
Ok, to the question, has anyone shaved the doors on a GT? Was wondering what to do next to "personalise" her without going too far and thought of smoothing the lines out. Any thoughts, advice welcome.

Shaving door handles is a bit 80's? Who has "Marci" now?

Welcome back, wondered where you were. I never get north of Pitlochry anymore in mine but a Scottish summer meet would be nice in 22.

Lol. Good to know some things never change on here. You ask a Q and responses go in all other directions other than that requested lol!
Will put pics up tomorrow of brakes and spoiler to at least stop that diversion!

I’m not sure a lack of door handles would make a big difference on a black car. Maybe a something with the grille. Do you have chrome trim to black out?

I mean, you have done the best bit already with yellow calipers.

Didn't complete shave the doors on my 116 but we did delete the key holes. Made it much slicker IMHO

Welcome back, it's the time of year where the doors between worlds are open and those with power can step across
