Do you know what that 'Skyhook suspension option' is? mine has Skyhook also and I've got H&R 22 mm and 25 mm spacers sitting in my garage waiting for the car to come back tomorrow after some mods. Thanks for the comment ... lowered on the Skyhook suspension option. H&R Spacers front and rear too. The previous owner made the mods which attracted me to in the first place.
Such a great thread. The great thing about these cars is the excuse for a road trip!

(Really want to remove that front plate, completely spoils it IMO)
There's actually another character at the front of the plate that I removed in Photoshop, hence the weird blank space. As I was doing it, I realised it made it look like a Merc-loving private plate, I thought someone might pull that up! I'll just blank it completely next time.Yes you do, it's not a Mercedes!
Skyhook was a factory option and the previous owner told me the springs can be adjusted. How does lowering with Skyhook work?
Is this a factory option or aftermarket?
The Maserati Skyhook Suspension system means that vehicles can maintain great performance without sacrificing comfort. In order to interpret the road surface and other conditions, adjustable settings for the shock absorbers change their settings through proportional valves that respond to a control unit that processes data obtained from acceleration sensors located on the body of the car and in each wheel.Do you know what that 'Skyhook suspension option' is? mine has Skyhook also and I've got H&R 22 mm and 25 mm spacers sitting in my garage waiting for the car to come back tomorrow after some mods.
I have skyhook on my GTS MC, but not aware of any factory lowering option.Skyhook was a factory option and the previous owner told me the springs can be adjusted.
That’s exactly what I was wondering. I’m familiar with Skyhook but not that its ride height can be adjusted.. I’d like to drop mine, particularly at the rear which seems to sit far higher than the front but I think the FD Performance springs for skyhook from the US (Larini supplies them in the UK) are too low if that makes sense, certainly for UK roads. Something in between would be great.I have skyhook on my GTS MC, but not aware of any factory lowering option.
Does anyone on here have experience of lowering a car with skyhook?
I'd still want it to be fairly practical though, such as clearing speedbumps and ramp angles on and off ferries, multistorey carpark etc...
My Mk1 GT3 had the ride height raised 3x while I owned it, so it may be that stock height it best... they do look good when they sit low though!
Proper lovely is thatNicely cleaned with its usual 2 hour OCDView attachment 63488
Worst I’ve ever seen an MC Stradale. Each to their own.
