Could you go any more then 15mm?That's what I did four years ago.
First, I lowered it and last year I decided to use 15mm spacers from Hill Engineering in the back. Looks quite nice now.

Formula Dynamics sells rear ones for 25mm so it is possible and has been done before.Could you go any more then 15mm?
Yes, that would be possible. A friend of mine had 20mm in the back, but I thought that 15mm looks a bit more like original.Could you go any more then 15mm?
Congratulations, it looks much better! I once read that Maserati supposedly turned the Skyhook suspensions all the way up so that the cars could get onto the transporters to the dealer without any problems. And supposedly the dealers were instructed to then bring the suspensions back up to the correct height, which obviously couldn't have happened considering the height of many of the cars. Whether this story is true or belongs to the realm of fables remains to be seen. Such legends are quite common.Car lowered now 3.5 cm . I wonder why it was set up so high. Final fitting of my exhaust.
Now on to wheels. Ideally I would like to change to 19" but the ones I like are expensive so will have to wait plus my current tyres are virtually new so I decided to refurb to silver the existing ones and ad some spacers. After taking some measurements I've decided to order some bolt on hubcentric ones 20mm front and 25mm rear. I will post some pictures once done.
I wonder why it was set up so high.
I agree. The car looks great, lovely stance.
With all 4 seats filled with adults and a boot full of luggage the car sits pretty low as the springs are so soft.
At this point it depends on how you use the car. I have left mine stock which annoys the **** out of me when at car shows or taking photos at beauty spots as it looks like it is in stilts. However I like to use my car for holidays and long journeys so it is nice not having to worry too much about low curbs at service stations or the channel crossing and driving down gravel roads in France/Italy/etc.
@Timm ride height settings info can be found here: https://www.sportsmaserati.com/index.php?threads/fiftys-manual-4200-build.28073/page-4#post-682102
I've found machine shop who did them to my measurements.Halfords or wot bruv !
Re the MOT. Did you go for the brakes on rollers testing or did you ask for a Tapley meter?
Asking as I have read contradicting info on here and mine needs an MOT.
Also, what is your exhaust? Is it straight through/x-pipe with single cat.
