Does now Jon
Yes interesting. You would have thought you'#d have seen some newer ones if the biggest number was 2017 but they all seem to be 2014/15

It is interesting; not sure how to account for the missing cars either? I had a look at my car - QP Sport GT S (facelift) - if I'm reading this right all the Sport GT S' (4.2 and 4.7s) 'peaked' at 106 Q3 2012 and are now down to 34? what happened to those other cars? exported? here's the link: https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/vehicle/maserati_quattroporte_sport_gts_a

I think you are misinterpreting the figures Nick. The biggest number is in 2017, as it includes all the earlier cars. What this shows us is the total number of cars of that type registered in the UK - so it's not just the newly registered cars of that particular year, but the cumulative total. So, in total we are looking at a figure of maybe around the 130 mark as the total number of Strads ever sold/registered in the UK. Maybe a split of one-third 2 seaters to two-thirds 4 seaters.

We know that 497 2 seater Strads where built with 225 delivered to Europe. Safe to say that the UK, Germany, Italy and France will have received most of these so I reckon you are not far off Ewan. Perhaps 40 or so UK cars? There is the odd anomaly too as my car is fully UK delivered but was actually destined for South Africa as all SA cars come through Maserati UK. It never left our shores though.

There is probably no way to really know the numbers although that advert which suggest 132 could be correct as the number of cars delivered through the UK network. A few will have been exported, a couple wrecked and a couple with collectors unregistered or off the radar. That makes the taxed/sort numbers probably correct or close to it.

To put the low volume into perspective, Porsche built 1270 carrera gts and 918 of the 918 Spyder (!!).

Ah I didn't read it like that.
So between 2013 and 2014 there where only 20 UK Stradale? I cant believe that so a low number is correct?

As I am led to believe, 2 seaters were only produced between 2011 and 2012.

Many of which may have sat unregistered at the dealer or indeed exported as Athol points out thus some although produced in 2011 & 2012 would not have actually been registered till a later year.

Very roughly 25 Strads sold/registered per year in the UK for the 5 or 6 years of availability. Sounds about right to me.

Message Maserati uk. I find Sara Pedrani is usually extremely helpful, it was her that confirmed how many Centennial Editions had been sold in the UK and in what colour when I was searching. I did have to provide my vin as proof I currently owned a Maserati, which did make me smile.

Great to see you've finally added the side stripes and Trident roof decals. Well played!
