That's better than the rusty Mitsubishi that was offered to swap mine for :)

There are too many in my area for anyone to take a second look.

On my ride to work I spotted around 50 porsches, 3 masers - actually one was a silver QP just down the road with a massive dent on the drivers door!

3 Lambos. 2 of which park in the street overnight every day. Countless Bentleys. Etc.

The only time I ever get noticed is when I am in sport mode and down shifting coming to a junction. And then they are usually scowls.

However if I drive out of London people actually smile and point and generally seem happy.

Of course, you're always in Sport Mode as I've heard you three times before spotting you :)

Driving around Northumberland/Newcastle area the car always attracts attention. Whether it's from pointing as you drive past, or from folks coming over and asking/chatting about it in whatever car park you're in, everyone seems to enjoy seeing them. Probably has something to do with the fact that they are much rarer seen on the roads around the NE than say, Ferrari or Aston. I've even seen more Lamborghini's driving around here than Maserati's.
As a previous poster mentioned, my other half doesn't enjoy all the 'goldfish bowl' attention. But I take it as part and parcel of owning such a rarely seen, gorgeous, car.
If you are around the North East any 1st Sunday of the month, try to pay a visit to The Crown Inn in a village called Humshaugh, near Hexham in Northumberland. First Sunday of the month is a great informal car meet day and some lovely cars show up. Check out the Crown Inn Humshaugh page on Facebook to see. David the pub owner is organiser of several car shows in the NE.

Never mind kids, an older gentleman was walking around the GS in a car park the other day. Gave him a quick blip when pulling out the garage. I reckon next time it happens, I will take the observer for a spin.

I went to watch my 12 year old play interschool football (Aussie rules) last Friday. Took the maser as it was a nice day.
When it was time to leave and the kids all saw the car they swarmed around it like flies. I actually started getting concerned they would start touching it lol

Worth knowing - my brother lives in Hexham so am up that way fairly regularly. Will have to try to make the stars align next time.

Just been looking at the pics from the June meet - great collection of cars. I don't think I've ever seen an F50 on the road.
