You could always drill the batten to the floor to stop the front wheels, get out the car and push it home into the garage then a chock behind the rear wheels???

Just a thought.

Thanks - now I've done it once I'll carry on with the Houdini act unless I gain a stone or two! Though I could push the Caterham in if needed it was a struggle as there is a slight incline over about 1m just in front of the door (to prevent water ingress) and even with only 600kg to move it made it difficult, I wouldn't be able to manage an extra tonne.

This is what I do and be aware as I found out the other day, after 10 minutes or so of idling / gentle revving to temp you may hear a rattling noise from mid ships - its the clutch apparently!!

Its the torque tube disengaging. Completely normal :)

I remember hearing this noise when my car was in for its MOT and thinking that sounds expensive! I rang my Indy specialist and he had the same diagnosis, so my wallet returned to my pocket.
