Hello fellow Levante enthusiasts, I am Danny (40) from Greenwich, London. I upgraded from my BMW M3 to a 2017 Levante to fit a larger family. I love the car and it is easily the prettiest SUV in the price range.

Looking for a bit of advise too please..
  1. Where do you guys recommend I get the servicing done?
  2. Do you reckon a full Maserati service history is worth it? The car currently has a full manufacturer service, but the HR Owens London doesn't seem to have great reviews online.
  3. Any recommendations on a service location around south east London would be very welcome?

Slight dissenter (only because SI is a schlep from Greenwich) but I'd head up to Auto Alfa in Basildon. Pick your time, up the M11, M25 and out, no biggy. Felice and his team are stars

Tell him (or Tom) I suggested him and you might get a discount. It might be a negative discount, but I'm sure there will be some adjustment ;)

My feeling is that after about 5 years, Main dealer servicing is irrelevant, and a good independent is just as good reputatonally, better on cost and often better technically.

Can people stop promoting SportsItalia, please? It's hard enough to get a booking already!

My Spyder III was originally sold by the then sole UK importer, Meridien Modena, back in 1993. It has had full history with them ever since, i.e. every service for 30 years. I'm continuing with that, as for a rare car such as that, it makes a difference.

But for a modern Levante or Ghibli, after maybe 5 years, servicing with a Maserati specialist is definitely adequate.

When I had a 4200 with issues Aldous Voice at AV engineering was so helpful despite me being 250 miles away so I was unlikely to ever take it there, a really nice guy who knows his stuff

Thank you for the warm welcome!!
It is indeed impossible to get a spot at SI.

Thanks CatmanV2 for the AutoAlfa recommendation. It is much closer to me.

Funny enough I bought an old motorcycle from a geezer in canvey island 20 years ago. Still runs great!

Welcome
I’ve heard good reviews of this company.

Is it the quantity, or the duration. I've heard they call him Mark 'ramp blocker' Mas. True, or..?

Mr L Levante, welcome! That's a good part of town to live in. We're big fans of The Hill for decent Latin food and great service. Also Copper & Ink in Blackheath.

Thank you for the warm welcome! The hill is brilliant.

May I suggest the beer and mussels at zero degrees in Blackheath. Or an outside table at the oystercatcher at sunset when the weather improves.

Not ramp blocking though!

Booked for March for 2 year service and MOT (and all those other bits and pieces while you're there)
Eb
Well 2 years is quite a long time to spend on one service (even if you are adding an mot and other bits and pieces). :p
