I wondering whether to change my wheels from current gloss black to silver / grey. The Neptune's are such a great wheel design and it seems a shame hide them in black.

What do you guys think?

Go graphite, gun metal....Silver alloys think looks a bit weak. Black and a grey colour allows looks good.

Silver, had the same dilemma on a GTS MC today (Grigio alfieri) and the opinion of all those I know with good taste in cars said silver.

Black looks cheap imo.
When I bought my (sliver) Elise, I negotiated the wheels being painted black prior to purchase. It looked good for a few weeks, then I decided it was a mistake.
I'd probably go grey, but more of a dark silver than a really dark grey, or just silver.

Since Dicky mentioned it, Grigio Alfieri is a fairly light grey, black looks horrible on it, I'd go silver every time.

Grigio Alfieri as a colour for wheels on a black car however works for me ;)

I would say definitely chrome with a black car..........Also, black alloys makes the tyres look dirty IMO

I may not have a great taste in cars but still maintain a grey colour with black.....Always makes the car look more hunkered down where as black you lose the wheel detail especially on a black car. Silver still doesn't do anything for me but it's your car so go with what floats your boat.

One of my pet hates black wheels... even more so in gloss.

My black GS has mercury gray, and If I was having more than one re painted I would go to silver... Black is old hat now.

I’d go for silver, too much black for me as it looks a little bland. Whatever you do it’s a lovely car.

FWIW I think the black wheels fad is getting old. Just my gut feeling. The silver is a great contrast, especially given that particular wheel design and I'd believe, would be more future proofed.
