Has anyone had any dealings with these guys?

Hi fellas,

Over the weekend, my rhs window simply stopped working. Stuck in the up position what's more - a right PITA when opening and closing the door!

I took it to a local auto electrician today and he is convinced that the motor has blown and that I need to replace the motor and regulator unit. Lots of $$$! I've had a bit of a hunt online and found these guys prices pretty good (http://www.supercarparts.co.th/) but their web site seems a bit dodgy. Has anyone heard of them? Are they reputable? Any known issues with them as vendors?

Many thanks in advance.

Cheers,

Kim.

Hi kim

I think there is an alternative Alfa part that can be fitted. Im sure Matt or somebody will be able to advise which one it is.

Indeed yes, there are 2 types though so make sure you eyeball them. It then simply bolts right in.

Kim, having been on the receiving end of your 'firm handshake' you sure you haven't broken the button? :)

Oh ha, ha! You blokes just need a little more concrete in your diets so you can harden up a bit!

Fond memories ... hope you're all well.

Cheers,

Kim.

Oh and by the way, anyone know anything about supercarparts.co.th? It seems like they might be UK based but its hard to tell.

Cheers,

Kim.

Kim did you actually test the motor? It's easy to test. You can either grab a volt meter, and unplug the motor, and test by the harness by hitting the window switch, or pull the motor and use a 12 volt source to check it. You could also unplug the motor in place and try it. Positive and negative on the plug just reverses to get the motor to go the other direction.

Could have done with one of those the last few weeks. Looks handy so might get one. Anyone got one?
